Ethernet/IP Controls from Watlow
January 24, 2006 ... We are pleased to announce the release of the first and only temperature controller with ODVA conformance tested Ethernet/IP communications. The PD series from Watlow provides a simple way to get the resource intensive task of controlling temperature loops out of the PLC while integrating easily into the overall control scheme.
Available in single or dual loop versions, the DIN-rail mounted control offers up to 4 outputs and embedded firmware serving web pages for setup, monitoring, and trending. The PD series also includes Modbus TCP and full compatibility with Watlow's InfoSense sensor technology.
