New Nozzle Heater from Watlow
August 21, 2003 ... We are pleased to announce the release of the new T2 nozzle heater from Watlow. This innovative heater offers a cost-effective alternative to cable style units in a robust, low profile package. This type of heater is widely used in runnerless molding systems, including two stage PET preform molding applications. The heater is constructed with an ultra-thin, thermally applied ceramic dielectric coating for rapid thermal response. This material, combined with additional layers of backside insulation and a double walled sheath, provides even heat distribution and transfer by directing more energy into the nozzle body. The reduced heat loss results in a more efficient heater and faster cycle times. These heaters are now in stock. Call us for more information.
